4. How do I store my records?
Records are stored in 1 or 2 cubic foot boxes, both of which are available
for sale from Fox Cities Records Services. Our boxes are designed for
longer life span in storage. They are designed to sustain more frequent
movement when retrieved out of storage by a client. OSHA recommends the
usage of 1 cubic foot boxes to prevent injury from the weight of 2 cubic
feet boxes. Clients are welcome to submit their own boxes for storage
if they are in record storage condition.
5. How do I store my data?
Data can be slotted individually, stored within 2.4 cubic foot plastic
tub containers, or directly in cases designed to protect various media.
When appropriate, clients may purchase cases to use on site and off. Sealed
turtle cases are used for the daily, weekly, or monthly transportation
of data from the vault to a client.
6. Will my records or data be safe?
The highest security and confidentiality is our top priority at Fox Cities
Records Services. Our facility is equipped with a 24-hour security system
in addition to internal monitoring. The vault located inside the facility
is also equipped with its own individual security system. Access to your
records or data is only available to those individuals who have been designated
by written notice.
7. How do I get my records or data when I need them?
Your records and data are available when you need them. Fox Cities Records
Services schedules deliveries of data and records to clients to meet their
needs.
8. Why not use a self-storage center?
Self-storage centers are more costly than working with Fox Cities Records
Services. They charge for rental of a fixed space, not cubic feet occupied.
Also, you don't know who or what is in the storage center next to you.
You could be putting your company’s security at risk without even
being aware of it.
9. Why not scan all my hard copy to digital files?
Digital imaging is a challenge for clients because of rapidly changing
technology. Once you’ve made the investment, technology can change,
making it difficult to retrieve copies of your documents. Digital files
will still require secure storage, and many government agencies will only
accept original documents.
10. How do I get started in the process?
A Fox Cities Records Services representative is available to help you
get started. Just contact us and we can evaluate your situation and offer
a solution that meets your needs.
